The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

The Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking to buy a robot vacuum that also mops then this is the model to go for. It's smaller than other options and makes it easier to maneuver into tight spaces or under furniture. It has a 220 degree Lidar that, combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, offers some of my favorite navigation and avoidance capabilities I've seen in the form of a robotic vacuum. It's got a battery of 4600mAh that can last for up to 170 minutes if mopping and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can run longer when it is set to turbo). It can even return to the dock to replenish its battery part way through an efficient.
It's quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast, and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room and hallways in just one pass. Its suction motor of 8,000pa is quick at picking up dirt, crumbs and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects rugs, and the dual side brush assists in removing debris from corners.
The mopping performance is a little less impressive, though not by much. The mop rotates at a high speed and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, easily scrubbing up dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arm sticks out a little more than other robots. This is helpful in tight corners or along baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to sweep larger pieces of debris, such as broken toys and fallen books.
The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mops and vacuums I've tried. It doesn't create as loud of a sound when mopping or vacuuming and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it needs to utilize a specific mopping solution and is sold separately. It's easy to install and works well however it's something you'll need to keep an eye on if you're buying this robot vacuum solely for the purpose of it mopping.
The Roborock Q Revo
The Q Revo stands apart from most robot vacuums that mops in its class. It comes with a wide array of features that make it an ideal choice for homeowners who want an extremely efficient, flexible, and customizable cleaning machine.
The device has a powerful and impressive cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensors and an RGB camera to map the house and locate furniture and other obstacles. It then uses this information to clean efficiently and intelligently. This leads to an efficient, consistent clean that's also fairly fast.
The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad can reach a variety of surfaces. This includes baseboards, corners and other hard to reach areas. They also have a flexible side brush that can be extended to reach the floor close to walls and other fixtures. The mop pads can also be washable and can be dried to remove odors and prevent buildup.
App-based customization is a different interesting feature. The Q Revo lets you adjust the suction level and select an back-and-forth or random pattern. You can also choose the number of passes, which will determine how quickly it can move around your home. You can also choose to turn off the side brush to prevent damaging rugs and carpets.
It's expensive, but has many smart features. It is important to note that the device is subject to recurring expenses in the form mopping equipment and regular maintenance. For instance brushrolls need to be replaced every six to 12 months or after 300 hours. The filter must be cleaned after 150 hours and the mop pad should be replaced every three to six months.
This robotic vacuum cleaner has an excellent rating on Amazon and includes a broad variety of physical automation features. The vacuum also has an energy button that doubles as the 'Clean button' and a Home' button to send it back home after cleaning. It also comes with a multi-functional dock which automatically empty the trash bin, fills up its water tank and washes and drys its mop pads.
The Shark Matrix Plus
If you're a professional with a lot of work or just want to have a clean home without spending much time doing chores The Shark Matrix Plus is a solid choice. It's a top-performing device, intelligent navigation, and long battery life that makes it easy to keep your home clean with minimal effort.
The Matrix Plus robot vacuum is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop. It can do both vacuuming as well as mopping. It has two modules: a dry bin and reservoir of water, and a separate mopping system with microfiber pads that snap in and out of place. Separate modules for vacuuming and mopping may appear a bit dated, but they do mean you don't have to think about changing bags for disposables or refilling the tank with water.
The Matrix Plus performed well at vacuuming and mopping. Its best feature is its precise floorplan map, which it uses when cleaning. It was easy for the Matrix Plus to navigate around furniture carpets, rugs, and other obstacles. The app lets you create 'No-Go Zones' as well as virtual barriers that prevent certain areas from being cleaned by a mop.
The Matrix Plus also did a amazing job of picking up hair of pets. It was able to collect many of the hair that sheds from our cats. It even got into some of the nooks and crannies of our stairs where other robots had struggled. It was quiet and had some lovely jingles to let you know when it was about to start or finishing its work.
Its biggest drawbacks were its simplistic app and the necessity to swap between the modules to switch between mopping and vacuuming. The app can't hold multiple maps, which could be a problem for homes with a mix of floors. The Matrix Plus robot is a excellent choice for those who want a smart device that can mop and vacuum.
The Yiko X1 Omni
The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive in our review. However, My Source has some unique features which make it worth considering. The X1 Omni's main draw is its enormous dock, which doubles as the robot's charging base and the housing for two water tanks, a sink for cleaning, and the 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically emptys.
The base also comes with a set of buttons to control the system. These allow you to manually start cleaning, recall the robot, or use the dock's automatic emptying process. Press two of the buttons to toggle a child lock that is a great option for parents concerned about children playing with the vacuum.
Similar to other robotic vacuums, the X1 Omni utilizes its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path, and then avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system will map your home 10 times faster than conventional laser detection systems and is four times more accurate in recognizing objects.
This can cause the X1 to get stuck if it gets caught in an obstacle like the power cable that is draped over a rug. It won't function until you manually untangle it. This is a rare event however it was frustrating because the X1 doesn't have an "stuck status" alert in its app.
The X1 Omni isn't able to automatically switch from mopping mode to vacuuming mode during the cleaning process. You will have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad but mopping pads don't get washed or dried between uses. This can lead to mildew and mold.
On the positive side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who came up with its sleek, modern-looking base and mopping pad apparatus. It's a big contrast to the basic black bases of rivals like Roborock or iRobot. It's also an impressive sight in the market that is dominated by boxy units.
